A song by Siti Nurhaliza judged the best the song "Cindai" sang by Siti Nurhaliza won the coveted prize in the 1998 best song competition sponsored by a private tv station in Kuala Lumpur. In winning the best song, competition Siti Norhaliza won a trophy and electrical appliances worth $24,000. Siti Norhaliza had sung the song "Cindai" in the opening ceremony of the 16th Commonwelth Games (SUKOM) in Kuala Lumpur. The song is catagorized as Malaysian Traditional Muzic composed by Suhaimi Mohd. Zain and Lyrics written by Hairul Anuar Harun. |

UNREAL BUT ITS TRUE ! It was a surprise for a surprise for Mariati Husin, 64 when her "kuini" tree (belongs to mango family) bore starfruits as well. The tree planted next to her house where she lives at No. 9, Dahlia Road, Kampung Melayu in Kluang, Johor, strated to fruit three years ago (but then there were no starfruits growing from the tree) From the "kuini" tree eight fruits of the 'honey starfruit' variety shared the stalles of the 'kuini fruit'.
